Went on the tour June 15th. Picked my wife and I from our hotel and drove us to Virginia City in a comfortable van. The tour guide provided a history of Reno and Virginia City on the drive up. The walking tour of Virginia City was too long and did not provide much of an opportunity to shop. More “on your own time” would have been nice. The guide and driver were pleasant and professional.
Hi Ben,
Thank you for your comment and for joining us on our Virginia City tour. We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable ride and the history shared by our team.
Our walking tour is designed to showcase Virginia City’s most important landmarks, stories, and historic sites. Sometimes guests become very engaged with the history and questions along the way, which can cause the walking tour to run longer than planned and reduce the remaining free time.
Guests are always welcome to step into shops and browse during the walking tour, and if you’d like additional time for shopping or exploring on your own, simply let your guide know. We are always flexible and happy to accommodate extra free time whenever possible.
Thank you again for traveling with Reno Outdoors, and we hope to see you again on a future adventure!
